About Sleep Stampede
Jacqueline, the singer-songwriter behind Sleep Stampede, is based in Flagstaff, AZ. Over the past ten years, she has toured the mountain and coastal West with original songs about love, loss, heartbreak, belonging, friendship, a sense of place in nature, and rage towards the patriarchy and late-stage capitalism.
After releasing her first solo EP, Birdfeeder, Sleep Stampede evolved into an indie-folk duo with John Ford. Their five-year songwriting and performance collaboration culminated in the EP Sleep Stampede. Since Ford left in 2026, Jacqueline has continued Sleep Stampede as a solo artist, often bringing in other musicians to collaborate.
Above all else, Jacqueline is a songwriter with a passion for bringing people together over music and the creative process. She has written and co-written over 50 songs, hosts a local Songwriting Club, and co-founded Folk, Etc, a songwriter showcase event series. Her Seasonal Celebration Concert Series brings people together each Solstice and Equinox for live acoustic music, storytelling, connection, nature, and personal reflection.

Original indie folk for music rooms, wineries, breweries, bars, restaurants and listening spaces. Jacqueline plays a songwriter-focused set and select covers that suit the room.

Festivals + Opening Sets
A solo guitar-and-voice set that works for songwriter rounds, festival stages and support slots. Flexible set lengths, a simple stage setup, and plenty of original material.

Private Events
Live music for weddings, house concerts, dinners and gatherings. Jacqueline will work with you on the set, whether that means mostly originals, familiar songs, or a little of both.
