Sleep Stampede
An Introduction.
Jacqueline, the singer-songwriter behind Sleep Stampede, is based in Flagstaff, AZ. Over the past ten years, she has toured the mountain and coastal west with her original songs that span the topics of love, loss, heartbreak, belonging, friendship, sense of place in nature, and rage towards the patriarchy and late-stage capitalism.
Jacqueline has released two EP’s in her music career. After the release of her first solo EP, Birdfeeder, Sleep Stampede evolved into an indie-folk duo in Flagstaff with John Ford, a songwriting and performance collaboration which lasted five years, culminating in the release of Jacqueline’s second EP, Sleep Stampede. Since Ford left the collaboration in 2026 to pursue other paths, Jacqueline has continued on with Sleep Stampede as a solo artist, often bringing in other artists to collaborate with.
Above all else, Jacqueline is a songwriter with a passion for bringing people together over music and the creative process. She has written and co-written over 50 songs, hosts a local Songwriting Club, and co-founded Folk, Etc, a songwriter showcase event series. Her love for curated experiences can be seen in her Seasonal Celebration Concert Series, held eachSolstice and Equinox, where she hosts a live acoustic show followed by an intentional community ritual intended to facilitate a mindful transition from one season to the next through music, storytelling, connection, nature, and personal reflection.
